When installed in the jamb track, the spring provides opposing force to assist lifting and enable controlled lowering across the opening height. The channel profile supports the sash guide path and helps maintain alignment through repeated cycles. This model is supplied as a single balance assembly; plastic sash guides are not included. Select compatible guides according to the window design and install it. After installation, cycle the sash to confirm clearances, seating, and travel at upper and lower stops. Routine maintenance involves removing debris from the track, checking shoe condition, and verifying spring tension to preserve consistent function over service life
