BioTherm Fluids PGX (formerly IceClear PGX) is a bio-based alternative to petroleum derived propylene glycol (PG) that can be used as a cost effective formulation substitute for PG in many commercial, industrial and agricultural applications, including the following: Heat Transfer Fluids Freeze Conditioners Coal and Ore Treatments Deicing Fluids Geothermal Fluids Antifreeze/Coolant Formulations Hydraulic Fluids Dust Suppressants Frost Protectant for Agricultural Products (e.g. Fruits). PGX is NSF registered (HT1) which allows it to be used where there is possibility of incidental food contact. PGX is also available with a multi-metal corrosion inhibitor added as BioTherm Fluids AF (formerly IceClear AF), both products are HT1 rated. PGX is designed to closely mirror the properties of a 50% PG solution. It can be used as delivered or diluted to achieve required results. PGX is glycerin based and does NOT contain ethylene glycol. This product ships ony to Business/Commercial locations, no home businesses or residential deliveries or farm/ranch.
